Within the commissioning procedure for the VAS waste wood steam plant in Vetroz (CH), the synchronisation and first feed of produced electricity was fulfilled Thursday 17.11.2022.

VAS was assigned to deliver a 100% waste wood powered steam plant as a technical-turn-key-supplier, including the over 4,0MW_el steam turbine.

This feed in of electricity happened as a final step of designing, manufacturing, delivering, installation and commissioning of the 20MW_th steam plant, during a challenging period of influence by COVID and the begin of acts of war in Ukraine at begin of 2022.

VAS wants to say thank you to it´s fully staff who did an excellent job, to fulfil all obligations and achieve this valuable milestone, despite the actual issues on the marked.
